Clarendon Neuro Rehab Service is dedicated to offers personal care services to clients with nursing (CHN care needs, as well as provides permanent or respite placement for people with physical and cognitive impairments and/or neuropsychiatric disorders resulting from a brain injury due to trauma and/or medical, surgical, or neurological conditions who Rehabilitation Services (RHS).

Level 1 Specialist Unit

This regional service is designed for people with complex cognitive and /or behavioural problems following a brain injury or as a result of a neurological condition. Their complex nursing and therapy needs are met with the input from a highly specialist multi-Disciplinary Team, and treatment facilities which may not be possible to offer in the care homes otherwise. The clients within this unit are usually in the very early stages of recovery from their brain or physical injury and will usually admit from an acute hospital once they are medically stable.

Level 2 Specialist Unit

This service is suitable for people who require specialist care in a rehabilitation unit and have ongoing less intense physio-psychological therapy needs. This particular service is provided on a secure and well-designed first floor of the building.

This service is suitable for people who require specialist care in a rehabilitation unit and have ongoing less intense physio-psychological therapy needs. This particular service is provided on a secure and well-designsed first floor of the building.

Specialist Team

Our team of specialist staff includes qualified nurses (RMN, RGN), Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, onsite Assistant Psychologist, Community Social Workers, and a Neuro Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant who is the Clinical Chair the Lead Consultant for safe delivery of the service.

A weekly local GP unit round is scheduled to monitor and understand the complex care needs of our clients and to support them well in time for their steady recovery process.
